Women and Child Protection & MHM Awareness Project (WCPMAP) Safe Women, Protected Children, Dignified Menstruation The Women and Child Protection & Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Awareness Project (WCPMAP) is a comprehensive initiative of BRDO designed to promote the safety, dignity, health, and rights of women, girls, and children in vulnerable communities across Bangladesh. Implemented over a period of 36 months, the project will operate in Kurigram, Nilphamari, Satkhira, Chattogram Hill Tracts, Patuakhali, Bhola, and Noakhali, reaching more than 200,000 beneficiaries through community-based interventions, education programs, digital awareness campaigns, and strengthened protection systems. Women and children in many parts of Bangladesh continue to face challenges related to gender-based violence, child protection risks, discrimination, and limited access to menstrual hygiene information and services. WCPMAP addresses these challenges through an integrated approach that combines awareness raising, capacity building, community engagement, and referral support services. Youth Leadership Against Drugs, Gambling and Violence The Building Responsible Citizens and Safe Communities Project (BRCSCP) is a youth-focused social development initiative designed to address the growing challenges of drug abuse, gambling, cybercrime, violence, and juvenile delinquency among vulnerable urban youth in Bangladesh. Implemented by BRDO, the project seeks to foster responsible citizenship, strengthen community resilience, and empower young people to become positive agents of change within their communities. Rapid urbanization, social inequality, limited recreational opportunities, and increasing exposure to harmful online and offline influences have contributed to a rise in risky behaviors among adolescents and young adults. Urban slum communities are particularly vulnerable to these challenges, often lacking adequate support systems, mentorship opportunities, and awareness regarding social responsibility and personal development. The BRCSCP aims to create safer communities by promoting positive social values, enhancing youth leadership, strengthening family and community engagement, and increasing awareness about the dangers of drugs, gambling, cybercrime, and violence. Through education, mentorship, community participation, and youth-led initiatives, the project will empower young people to make informed decisions and contribute positively to society.

Resilient Livelihoods for Vulnerable Communities Project (RLVCP) Skills, Opportunities and Sustainable Income The Resilient Livelihoods for Vulnerable Communities Project (RLVCP) is a comprehensive socio-economic development initiative aimed at improving the livelihoods and economic resilience of vulnerable households in Bangladesh. Implemented by Bangladesh Rehabilitation and Development Organization (BRDO), the project focuses on empowering disadvantaged communities through skills development, entrepreneurship promotion, livelihood support, and sustainable income-generating opportunities. Many families living in climate-vulnerable and economically marginalized areas face persistent challenges including unemployment, underemployment, limited access to markets, inadequate vocational skills, and recurring economic shocks caused by natural disasters and environmental changes. Women and youth are particularly affected by these challenges, often having limited opportunities to participate in productive economic activities. The RLVCP seeks to address these issues by equipping beneficiaries with practical skills, business knowledge, financial literacy, and productive assets that enable them to build sustainable livelihoods and improve their overall quality of life. Plastic-Free Coastal Bangladesh Project (PFCBP) Reduce Plastic, Restore Nature The Plastic-Free Coastal Bangladesh Project (PFCBP) is a transformative environmental initiative designed to combat the growing threat of plastic pollution in Bangladesh's coastal regions. Implemented by Bangladesh Rehabilitation and Development Organization (BRDO), the project seeks to protect marine ecosystems, improve community health, promote sustainable livelihoods, and encourage responsible environmental behavior through large-scale public engagement and action. Bangladesh's coastal areas, particularly Chattogram, Feni, and Cox's Bazar, are increasingly affected by plastic waste that pollutes beaches, rivers, canals, and marine habitats. Plastic pollution not only threatens biodiversity and fisheries but also undermines tourism, public health, and local economies. Recognizing the urgency of this challenge, PFCBP aims to create long-term environmental change through awareness, education, community participation, and sustainable waste management solutions.
