Safe Women, Protected Children, Dignified Menstruation

The Women and Child Protection & Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Awareness Project (WCPMAP) is a comprehensive initiative of BRDO designed to promote the safety, dignity, health, and rights of women, girls, and children in vulnerable communities across Bangladesh.
Implemented over a period of 36 months, the project will operate in Kurigram, Nilphamari, Satkhira, Chattogram Hill Tracts, Patuakhali, Bhola, and Noakhali, reaching more than 200,000 beneficiaries through community-based interventions, education programs, digital awareness campaigns, and strengthened protection systems.

Women and children in many parts of Bangladesh continue to face challenges related to gender-based violence, child protection risks, discrimination, and limited access to menstrual hygiene information and services. WCPMAP addresses these challenges through an integrated approach that combines awareness raising, capacity building, community engagement, and referral support services.

Our Vision

BRDO envisions a society where women and children live free from violence, discrimination, and harmful social norms, and where every girl can manage menstruation safely, confidently, and with dignity. Through collaboration with communities, institutions, and development partners, WCPMAP contributes to building safer, healthier, and more inclusive communities across Bangladesh.
